I have decided to do something different .... I am going to include the following Youtube video on all of my pages even though it takes up a lot of space at the top of the page. This man, Pat Condell, is, in my opinion, someone who needs to be heard.

As far as I am concerned this man is a breath of fresh air in a world of political and superstitious bullshit that seems to be flooding our world more than ever these days.

Uncle Block's Resumoir
In case you were wondering how your dear old Uncle Joe Block could possibly provide such a plethora of advice, humour and political commentary I have elected to give you, honoured hitstat, a rare and honest glimpse into my true employment history.
I am sure that, after browsing the contents of my resume, if you can get through it all, you will realize how a carefully thought out career path can open many doors. It reminds me of Jack Torrence (Stephen King's "The Shining") patiently explaining to his wife, that with his history of assault, child abuse and drunkenness, he can practically write his own ticket... working in a car wash, shovelling snow, swamping out Grey Hound buses.... driving a taxi...
In addition to the experience relayed and parlaid in the pages below, your dear old uncle has also:
- Applied for the position of member of parlaiment in the riding of Leeds-Grenville - 1984
- Applied for the position of member of parlaiment in the riding of Willowdale - 1988
- Applied for the position of provincial member of parlaiment in the riding of Hamilton West - 1995
- Smoked a lot of dope and popped a lot of beer caps.
The interviews for political positions were gruelling, and the wise voters chose not to avail themselves of my services. The dope smoking and beer drinking represented unpaid work not recognized by "society" and remain, uncompensated.
