Uncle Block's Torch of Freedom
I have decided to do something different .... I am going to include the following Youtube video on all of my pages even though it takes up a lot of space at the top of the page. This man, Pat Condell, is, in my opinion, someone who needs to be heard. Watch the video. If you think what he is saying makes sense make sure you watch all of his videos on YouTube. As far as I am concerned this man is a breath of fresh air in a world of political and superstitious bullshit that seems to be flooding our world more than ever these days.

W3TAXI.Com and Uncle Block's Torch of FreedomNovember 9, 2003It is with great pleasure we here at W3taxi.com are able to introduce our brilliant editorial staff.
Also on our staff from Crazy Mag, we have the brilliant orator, writer, craftsman, statesman, historian, economist, futurist, social policy analyst, artist, musician, composer and anti-poverty activist... Joe Schlockenblock whose hard hitting analysis of moronic drivers and road rage recently stunned the industrial world. Schlockenblock is well known for his anti-poverty activism. Foremost amongst his accomplishments in this area have been prescriptions for getting enough to eat while collecting welfare, maintaining a sense of dignity and self esteem while riding taxis and, most important for all welfare recipients, how to break the cycle of poverty and get off welfare. We look forward to more of professor Schlockenblock's valuable work as time passes and new challenges present themselves. We also hope to provide you with extra gems from some of the other former stars of the Crazy Mag editorial team including astrological predictions by Joe Schlock, home economics by Joe-Ann Schnickenkeimskivichenzochung, and various trivia and miscellania by the sage old alcoholic Zolton-Joe Vissarionovich Schnickenkeimskivichenzochung-Smith-Wong-Hussein-Schickelgrubber-Anchovie-and-Hot-Peppers-Ahkbar-Dzhugashvili, descendant of several generations of hyphenated surname users.
Uncle Block's famous writings have been referenced in Civil Rights Lawyer Lynne Stewart’s terrorism trial regarding "interesting uses" of the word "jihad"(see Note #138 in the pdf file - warning large file takes time to load) and on Page 7 of a University of Memphis Law Review article on the African Reparations movement
(Notes 97-101).

Cowardly Statists Harass the Weak

I was looking over the Spectator's TV listings this evening when I came across
the following entry for Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at 10:00 PM.
|7|11|24| Blind Justice - Premiere
When a victim of a serial killer is murdered, the detective on the case is reassigned. (???)
Dumb Shit
1 - Politics (I.E. laws and taxes) can make life better for most people
(Spoken by politicians ad nauseum.)
Timothy Leary had it right when he said, "the function of government should be to put itself out of business." Unfortunately, most people who choose politics as a vocation do not see it this way. Nor, tragically, do the naive multitudes who continue to elect them. Prosperity cannot be legislated. Human beings cannot be engineered. These facts make most of what politicians do a waste of time and resources.

What's New?
Actually there is nothing new. I continue to despise politicians, the majority of whom are nothing more than pompous assholes. As for the general population, the majority of those who bother to vote continue to demonstrate their naivete by putting idiots in power.
Take Dalton McGuinty. This monkey is now at the controls in Ontario. Who knows how much damage he will manage to do over the next five years. Is he really an idiot?
Rational Ignorance
On the front page of today's Spectator we find an article titled, "You have the right to be ignorant of your rights." Apparently half of all Canadians can't name any of the rights that are supposedly guaranteed by the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Well, as Ayn Rand once said, "Why examine a folly? Just ask yourself what it accomplishes." In the case of the Canadian Charter of Rights and freedoms the answer to that question is "very little" depending on how seriously you take your rights and freedoms.

The Power of Protest
Some of the ideas appearing in cyberspace have given me an idea for a book I'd like to write someday.
A group of 'anti-poverty activists' were sailing somewhere to fight poverty. They hit bad weather and were unexpectedly marooned on a deserted tropical island. Most of their possessions disappeared when the ship sank and so they found themselves in a state of grinding poverty in their new island home.
